Active ingredients
The plant accumulates alkylamides, polyacetylenes, coffee acid derivatives: 1.2-3.1% of chicoric acid (mostly present at the beginning of flowering), smaller amounts of methyl ester of chicoric acid. Also, essential oil – 0.08-0.32% (bornyl acetate, borneol, caryophyllene, germacrene D, caryophyllene epoxide, palmitic acid), polysaccharides, flavonoids (rutin, quercetin), minerals, vitamin C.
