Active ingredients
Up to 10% of sugars, up to 1.8% of organic acids and yeasts 0.35-0.67% of yeasts are found in chokeberry fruits. They contain quite a lot of vitamin C – up to 35.0 mg% (and sometimes up to 60.0 mg%), fruits are also rich in flavonoids (vitamin P), vitamins B, B, B, B (folic acid), B, E, PP, macronutrients (iron, phosphorus), trace elements (boron, manganese, molybdenum, copper, cobalt and others) , and especially high levels of iodine (up to 24 mg%).
Healing properties
They are also rich in antioxidants (anthocyanins) that stimulate the immune system, slow down aging and reduce the risk of cancer.
