Healing properties
Peppermint leaf infusion is used as a sedative, bile secretion promoting medicine, relieves spasms, relieves pain, has a bactericidal effect, dilates the coronary arteries of the heart. Used for bothersome migraine headaches treatment. Peppermint contains the flavonoid Apigenin, which has anticancer activity.
Peppermint preparations have anti-nausea, digestive-improving, intestinal spasm-reducing, disinfecting and analgesic properties. The raw material of peppermint is used in various therapeutic mixtures for the treatment of vascular diseases, insomnia, bronchitis, rhinitis, seasickness, neuroses.
