The active substances of hyssop:Hyssop contains 0.3-1% essential oil (pinene, camphene, cineole), 8% yeast, flavonoids, isopine, carbohydrates, resins, mucus, minerals, bitter and colouring agents. Green leaves contain vitamin C (170 mg%), phytoncides. The active substances of hyssop have antiseptic and antispasmodic effects.
